Understanding ZTNA

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) is a cybersecurity framework that requires strict identity verification for every person and device attempting to access resources on a private network, regardless of whether they are inside or outside the network perimeter. ZTNA focuses on continuously authenticating users and devices and granting access based on the principle of least privilege, limiting access to only the resources needed for a specific task. This approach enhances network security by reducing the attack surface and helps prevent unauthorized access and lateral movement within the network.
