Authorized Training
One day for cloud, data, IT, and business professionals who use AI and machine learning on AWS and want the AWS Certified AI Practitioner credential without weeks of self-study.
The AWS Certified AI Practitioner exam covers five domains: fundamentals of AI and ML, fundamentals of generative AI, applications of foundation models, guidelines for responsible AI, and security, compliance, and governance for AI solutions. This one-day boot camp walks through every domain on official AWS courseware, with exam-style questions after each one so you can see where you stand. Hands-on labs in Amazon Bedrock cover prompt engineering, Guardrails, and building an assistant. The day closes with a mock exam, and your exam voucher is included.
This class runs on official AWS courseware taught by AWS-authorized instructors. The material follows the AIF-C01 exam guide domain by domain, with exam-style questions and use cases written by AWS, so you study what the current exam tests.
Your $100 AIF-C01 exam voucher is included with enrollment. Take the exam on Tuesday, the morning after class, or schedule it later at a Pearson VUE testing center or online with a remote proctor, whichever fits your calendar.
All five exam domains in a single full day, weighted the way AWS weights them: applications of foundation models at 28%, generative AI at 24%, AI and ML fundamentals at 20%, and responsible AI and security at 14% each. Nothing skipped, nothing padded.
Immersive classroom instruction with direct instructor access, hands-on labs and peer collaboration.
The same instructors and curriculum, delivered live from anywhere on our virtual learning platform.

The AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) is a foundational certification from AWS that validates knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI concepts and the AWS services behind them. This AWS AI Practitioner training prepares you to earn it.
One full day of live online, instructor-led training on official AWS courseware. Each exam domain pairs subject overviews with exam-style questions, use cases, and group discussion, and the day ends with a mock exam before you sit the real one.
You work in Amazon Bedrock, not only slides. Labs cover optimizing slogan generation with prompt engineering, implementing responsible AI principles with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, and building an HR assistant, so the services on the exam are ones you have used.
The exam weights five domains: Applications of Foundation Models 28%, Fundamentals of Generative AI 24%, Fundamentals of AI and ML 20%, Guidelines for Responsible AI 14%, and Security, Compliance, and Governance for AI Solutions 14%. The syllabus follows that map.
AWS designed this credential for people who use AI and machine learning solutions rather than build them. Business analysts, IT support and project staff, marketing and sales professionals, and line-of-business managers can all earn it, no coding required.
You may retake the class at no cost within one year of your original session. Your exam voucher is included, so you can test the morning after class or schedule your exam later at a Pearson VUE center or online.
A structured path designed for working professionals.
Each day builds on the last—momentum is everything.
Accelerated, instructor-led learning to get you upskilled, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, and back to work.
The credential, the capability, and the continued readiness — all in one boot camp.
Real questions from real professionals who passed.
Here's
how we answer them.
The AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) is a foundational-level certification from AWS that validates knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI concepts, use cases, and the AWS services that support them, independent of a specific job role. It is meant for people who use AI and ML solutions on AWS rather than build them, including cloud, data, IT, and line-of-business staff.
This AWS AI Practitioner training is one full day, delivered live online by an AWS-authorized instructor on official AWS courseware. You cover the five AIF-C01 domains through subject overviews, exam-style questions, use cases, and group discussion, with hands-on labs in Amazon Bedrock. The day ends with a mock exam, and your exam is set for Tuesday, the morning after class, or later if you prefer.
Yes. Your tuition includes a $100 AWS exam voucher for the AIF-C01, along with official AWS courseware, study labs and simulations, exam prep questions, and a mock exam. You can take the exam the morning after class or schedule it later at a Pearson VUE testing center or online with a remote proctor.
The AIF-C01 exam is 90 minutes and has 65 questions, 50 scored and 15 unscored. Question types are multiple choice, multiple response, ordering, matching, and case study. Results are reported on a scaled score of 100 to 1,000, and the minimum passing score is 700. The exam fee is $100, and it is delivered at Pearson VUE testing centers or online with a proctor.
AWS recommends up to 6 months of exposure to AI and ML technologies on AWS, plus familiarity with core services such as Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS Lambda, and Amazon SageMaker, the shared responsibility model, IAM, and AWS pricing models. No coding or model building is required. If you are new to IT altogether, AWS suggests earning the Cloud Practitioner first.
AWS AI Practitioner training fits anyone who works with AI and machine learning on AWS without building the models: business analysts, IT support professionals, project and product managers, marketing and sales professionals, and line-of-business or IT managers. It also suits cloud and data staff who want their AI knowledge on record before moving toward the Machine Learning Engineer Associate.
The labs run in Amazon Bedrock. You optimize slogan generation with prompt engineering techniques, implement responsible AI principles with Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, and build an HR assistant with Amazon Bedrock. Each lab ties back to an exam domain, so foundation model applications, responsible AI, and generative AI services are things you have done, not only read about.
Both are foundational AWS certifications with 90-minute exams and a $100 fee. The Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02) covers cloud basics: core services, security, architecture, pricing, and support. The AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) assumes that cloud familiarity and focuses on AI, machine learning, generative AI, foundation models, responsible AI, and AI governance. If you are new to AWS, take Cloud Practitioner first.
The AWS Certified AI Practitioner is valid for 3 years from the date you pass. To recertify, you can retake the current version of the AIF-C01 exam or earn the AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer Associate (MLA-C01), which renews the AI Practitioner as well. AWS sets the recertification rules, so check your AWS Certification account before your expiration date.
No. AWS certifications, including the AI Practitioner, are not listed on the DoD 8140 Approved Qualifications Matrix. If you need a credential for a DoD 8140 work role, check the current Approved Qualifications Matrix for that role before choosing a certification. The AI Practitioner remains useful for AI and cloud work inside and outside government.
You may retake the class at no cost within one year of your original session as a free course retake. Your tuition includes one exam voucher, so a second exam attempt is at your own cost of $100 unless AWS or a current promotion states otherwise. Use the class retake to review the domains your score report flags before you sit the exam again.
Many certifying bodies accept vendor training hours toward continuing professional education, and a full-day instructor-led class on official AWS courseware often qualifies. Requirements differ by organization, so check with your certifying body on how it counts training hours and what documentation it needs before you submit the class.
The AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer Associate (MLA-C01) is the next step for people who want to build and operate ML solutions on AWS, and earning it also renews your AI Practitioner. If your interest is broader cloud work, the AWS Solutions Architect Associate is a common follow-on, and our three-day AWS Solutions Architect Associate Boot Camp covers it.
Preparing for an AWS exam takes a plan, so we gathered guides on AI certifications, AWS exam changes, exam objectives, study resources, and continuing education credits.
