A background in information security is recommended, though no specific certification is required to attend.

    There are no formal prerequisites for this workshop. Participants should have a foundational understanding of information security principles. Deep technical knowledge of machine learning or artificial intelligence is not required, but basic familiarity with how AI systems work will help participants get the most from the scenario-based exercises, case studies and peer collaboration throughout the two-day program.

    Participants earn 16 CPE credits toward maintaining ISC2 certifications such as CISSP, CCSP and SSCP. Virtual participants earn 10 CPE credits. All attendees receive a certificate of completion and a digital Credly badge upon finishing the workshop. ISC2 member credits are typically added to profiles within 7 to 10 working days after the event.

    Participants leave the ISC2 Securing AI Workshop with CPE credits (16 in-person or 10 virtual), a certificate of completion and a digital Credly badge. Beyond credentials, attendees gain practical knowledge for building an AI security roadmap, aligning AI practices with established risk management frameworks and implementing secure-by-design and secure-by-default principles across the AI lifecycle.
