The VA has reopened its high-tech training program as VET TEC 2.0. Training Camp works with VET TEC 2.0 approved partners, so we can point you to the right program. You can also use the GI Bill娨 for our certification boot camps.
The first VET TEC program was a pilot, and it ended in 2024. Congress then created VET TEC 2.0, which the VA now runs with its own eligibility and entitlement rules.
A Certificate of Eligibility from the old program can’t be used for VET TEC 2.0. You need to apply again through the VA.
Only training providers the VA has approved for VET TEC 2.0 can take these students. The VA lists them in its GI Bill娨 Comparison Tool.

The VA can pay back certification test fees up to $2,000 per test under the same chapters.

No. The VA requires a new application for VET TEC 2.0.
It can. If you have DEA, Montgomery GI Bill娨 Active Duty or Post-9/11 GI Bill娨 months left, the VA charges one month for each month of full-time training. Veterans with no entitlement left can still take part.
