Understanding ARP Spoofing

ARP Spoofing is a cyber attack where an attacker sends falsified Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) messages over a local area network. The goal is to link the attacker's MAC address with the IP address of a legitimate network device. This allows the attacker to intercept, modify, or block network traffic between two parties, potentially leading to information theft or insertion of malicious content.ARP Spoofing is also known as ARP poisoning.
