Blue Team Definition: Security team focused on defending against cyber attacks
A blue team is a group of security professionals responsible for defending an organizations systems and networks against real and simulated attacks. They analyze security architecture implement defensive measures monitor systems for intrusions respond to security incidents and conduct damage assessments. Blue teams often work with red teams in adversarial exercises providing an essential defensive counterpart to offensive security testing to improve overall security posture.
