Understanding DDoS

DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic of a targeted server, service, or network by overwhelming it with a flood of internet traffic from multiple sources. This flood of incoming traffic can exhaust the target's resources such as bandwidth, processing power, or network connections, rendering the target unable to respond to legitimate requests.
