Ephemeral Ports Definition: Ephemeral ports are temporary network ports used by client applications to communicate with servers, typically ranging from port numbers 49152 to 65535.
Ephemeral ports are temporary network ports used by client machines to communicate with servers. Once the communication session is completed, ephemeral ports are released back to the pool for reuse by other connections.
