Group Policy is a feature in Microsoft Windows that enables administrators to manage configurations and security settings for users and computers within an Active Directory environment. It allows the enforcement of password policies, software installation restrictions, login scripts, and other security parameters across a domain. Group Policy Objects GPOs are applied hierarchically and can target specific users or devices, making them vital for enterprise security and compliance enforcement.
