Kill Chain Modeling is a strategic framework used in cybersecurity to understand and analyze the stages that an attacker goes through in a successful cyberattack. It typically consists of different phases such as reconnaissance, weaponization, delivery, exploitation, installation, command and control, and actions on objectives. By mapping out these stages, defenders can proactively identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, allowing them to develop effective security measures and response strategies to prevent or mitigate cyberattacks.
