Multipartite Virus Definition: A multipartite virus infects via multiple vectors at once, typically boot sector and executable files, making it hard to fully eradicate.
A multipartite virus is a type of malware that infects a system through multiple vectors simultaneously, typically combining boot sector infection with executable file infection. By spreading via both the boot record and program files, it is harder to fully eradicate, since cleaning one component leaves the other able to reinfect the system if either is missed during remediation.
