RPKI is a cryptographic framework binding IP prefixes to authorized autonomous systems via signed ROAs to prevent BGP prefix hijacking.
Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) Definition: RPKI is a cryptographic framework binding IP prefixes to authorized autonomous systems via signed ROAs to prevent BGP prefix hijacking.
Resource Public Key Infrastructure RPKI is a cryptographic framework, standardized in RFCs including RFC 6480, that binds Internet number resources such as IP prefixes to the autonomous systems authorized to originate them. Through signed Route Origin Authorizations ROAs and Route Origin Validation by routers, RPKI helps prevent BGP prefix hijacking and accidental misorigination of routes.
Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) is one of the topics you'll master in the Security+ Boot Camp.
