SPF Definition: SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is an email authentication protocol that helps identify which mail servers are authorized to send emails on behalf of a specific domain.
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is an email validation protocol that helps detect and prevent email spoofing. It allows domain owners to specify which mail servers are allowed to send emails on behalf of their domain. By publishing SPF records in their Domain Name System (DNS), domain owners can prevent unauthorized parties from sending emails that appear to come from their domain, thereby reducing the risk of phishing and spam attacks.
