Storm Control is a network security feature that helps prevent denial-of-service (DoS) attacks by monitoring incoming broadcast, multicast, or unknown unicast traffic levels. Once a predefined threshold is exceeded, the switch or router will limit or block the traffic to protect the network from being overwhelmed or disrupted.
