By injecting malicious code into these legitimate websites, the attackers can infect the devices of visitors with malware, enabling them to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information or resources on those devices. This type of attack leverages the trust users have in commonly visited websites to exploit vulnerabilities and carry out malicious activities.
