Since the initial platform officially launched in 2012, DraftKings has grown explosively and has become a transformative experience, changing the way fans interact with sports. As an industry leader for mobile and online sports betting, Draft Kings relies heavily on technology to satisfy a growing customer base in excess of 11 million and counting. As Draft Kings has grown, they saw an increasing need to develop the skills of their IT staff, and wanted a customized solution for the specific requirements of this type of cutting edge infrastructure . A key selection criteria for the training solution was outcome based reinforcement to ensure the learning that took place in the classroom would stick and provide opportunities to apply the knowledge back at their job. Wasting time in 9 to 5 standard training might work for benchwarmers, but was not an option for this team.
Training Camp's approach fit perfect. Each team member was provided a detailed background analysis prior to starting on the path to certification. Before even attending training, these students were focused on their primary objectives: get skilled, and get certified. With this guidance and support, Training Camp's expert certification insight created a rewarding experience that met Draft Kings objectives.
A leading provider of medical device technologies wished to improve the interaction and support of its on premise team that supported clients. Most of this team had IT networking experience, but was lacking in a broader understanding of cybersecurity issues, such as the applicable policies, laws, and regulations faced by the these clients. These teams were also located in different regions, making deployment of training problematic.
After an evaluation of the experience level of these team members, each person was assigned preparation goals to set a baseline skill level prior the selected training event. This consistent messaging allowed for a better evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of each team member. Using a flexible scheduling model, the client had minimal impact on the day to day practices of this team, and was able to achieve a 90% success rate on the outcome of CompTIA Security+ credential.
A large DoD US Navy command was required to demonstrate and prove that their personnel are IT security competent and meet the compliance requirements of Directive 8570 for over 50 IA team members.
Training Camp provided a hybrid mix of CompTIA Security+ training, with onsite testing, to complete this requirement. 100% of the team completed and updated to IAT Level II requirements.
A major pharmaceutical company wanted to provide a baseline standard of cyber training/certification to their support teams. The current training was being delivered by a traditional Learning Management System (LMS). Their past experience had proven that LMS training was unable to produce certification success.
Training Camp designed a custom Security+ training course, build on the existing content provided, as to reinforce the core knowledge needed for a successful outcome on the Security+ exam. This modular course allowed attendees to not waste time with material they were already competent in, and not lose production time.
Top Benefits of On-Site Training
Time & convenience
Time is a precious commodity for anyone, and the more time that your team spends protecting your assets, the more productive the organization can be. With any training, you want your team to expand its knowledge and gain insights into best practices. You also ideally want them to spend the least amount of time away from production as possible. Our flexible scheduling allows you to pick the date, time and location that’s most convenient
Customizable to your requirements
As a manager, you want to know that the knowledge provided in training will be applicable to your business and will address specific challenges that employees encounter. On-site training provides this by tailoring the learning experience to your team’s unique needs.
Cost-effective – Save over 40%
With any training, you want to provide the best educational experience at the greatest value. The ability to train potentially dozens of employees in your facility at one time is a tremendous benefit of on-site training from a cost perspective.
