    Cisco added 300-745 SDSI, Designing Cisco Security Infrastructure, as a CCNP Security concentration, and the 300-730 SVPN exam no longer appears among the concentration exams on Cisco’s CCNP Security page. SDSI shifts the focus from configuring VPNs to designing complete security architectures across infrastructure, applications, risk, and automation. Our courseware targets the current SDSI blueprint.

    Yes. The program is built on SCOR v2.0, which adds Secure Service Edge, AI and LLM threats, post-quantum cryptography, and Splunk, and on SDSI v1.0, Cisco’s first security design exam. You train on exactly what the current exams test.

    There are no formal prerequisites, though Cisco recommends CCNA-level networking knowledge and some hands-on security experience. Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing, and switching will help you get the most from the program.

    Both exam vouchers are included in your enrollment. Your instructor works scheduling into the program so you can test while the material is fresh rather than waiting weeks and losing momentum.

    You configure Cisco Secure Firewall, Identity Services Engine, secure access, and endpoint protection in guided labs, then design full security architectures for the SDSI exam. The labs mirror both blueprints so the concepts stick.

    Cisco professional-level security training supports DoD 8140 workforce qualification for several DCWF work roles. Qualification under the DoD 8140 framework is mandatory for covered positions. See our DoD 8140 page for how Cisco credentials map to specific work roles.

    The boot camp includes a free retake. If you do not pass on the first try, you can retake the course for free until you do. Most students are certified before they leave.
