Claude Certified Developer Boot Camp

Directly from Anthropic, and only from Anthropic. They sell the Claude Certified Developer – Foundations exam themselves at $125 USD through the Anthropic Partner Academy, and that is where you register, pay and schedule it. Training Camp does not sell, resell or bundle the exam, and no voucher is included in this course. Anthropic owns the exam; we teach the preparation. The course price is instruction only, which is why it sits below what a bundled boot camp costs.

Currently, yes. Anthropic restricts certification registration to eligible individuals at organizations participating in the Claude Partner Network, and requires a company-domain email address. Final eligibility is determined by Anthropic, not by us. We have no part in that process: we cannot register you, sponsor you, or influence the decision either way. You are welcome to take this course regardless – the material stands on its own as Claude skills training – but confirm your eligibility with Anthropic first if sitting the exam is the point of attending.

No. This is independent exam preparation built by Training Camp. Anthropic publishes its own preparation curriculum through the Partner Academy, and we recommend using both. What we add is the classroom: a live instructor, a compressed schedule, and 25 years of experience working out how people actually pass certification exams.

Anthropic uses a scaled score from 100 to 1,000, with 720 required to pass. A 720 scaled score does not mean 72% of questions correct – Anthropic does not publish a raw-score conversion, and scaled scoring accounts for question difficulty. Treat the number as a threshold, not a percentage.

53 questions, 120 minutes, multiple choice and multiple response. Plan for roughly 135 minutes of total seat time once check-in, ID verification and instructions are accounted for. It is delivered through Pearson VUE, either at a testing centre or online-proctored. The blueprint is weighted heavily toward Applications and Integration at 33.1%, so most of the exam is about building and shipping, not theory.

Anthropic enforces escalating waiting periods: 14 days after a first failed attempt, 30 days after a second, and 90 days after a third, with a maximum of four attempts per exam in a rolling 12-month period. Retakes are charged at the applicable exam fee. That waiting period is the real cost of an unprepared attempt, and it is the main reason structured preparation is worth the time.

Twelve months from the date you earn it. Anthropic currently offers a renewal path for candidates who renew before expiry, which may include reviewing what has changed in Claude and completing a free non-proctored renewal assessment. If you let it lapse, you generally re-sit the full proctored exam and pay the fee again. Diary the date.

That is exactly the problem this course exists to solve. Claude ships new models, new API surfaces and new tooling on a cadence no printed study guide keeps up with. We maintain the courseware against Anthropic’s published exam blueprint and the current API, and we teach the parts that are stable – architecture, evaluation, context handling, security – separately from the parts that move. You will be told which is which.

It is the reason to take a class rather than self-study. These exams launched in 2026, so there is no back catalogue of books, no decade of forum threads, and a lot of what is circulating online is guesswork. We work from Anthropic’s published domain weightings and build the class around them. When we do not know something, we say so rather than filling the gap.
