Understanding DKIM

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is an email authentication method that uses public key cryptography to verify the authenticity of an email message. It allows the receiver to check if an email was indeed sent from the claimed sender's domain and detect any tampering during transmission. DKIM adds a digital signature to the email header which can be verified by the recipient's mail server using the public key published in the sender's domain's DNS records.
