Understanding Zero Trust Policy

Zero Trust Policy is a security concept that assumes threats could exist both inside and outside a network, and thus no entity, whether inside or outside, should be trusted by default. Verification is required from anyone trying to access resources on the network, regardless of their location or network environment. This model minimizes the potential damage of a breach by limiting the trust extended to users and devices and by segmenting access to different parts of the network based on strict identity verification and continuous monitoring.
