vSphere V8 at Enterprise Scale.

This intensive 5-day boot camp covers the advanced skills for operating, scaling, and securing a VMware vSphere V8.0 environment. You’ll work hands-on with replication, resource management, networking, storage, high availability, host compliance, certificates, monitoring, and security across realistic enterprise scenarios. Designed for experienced administrators, engineers, and integrators who already know vSphere fundamentals and need to operate it at scale. Prerequisite: VMware vSphere Install, Configure, Manage [V8] or equivalent experience.

Past Install and Configure.

Picks up where ICM leaves off. We assume you can install vCenter, deploy ESXi, and configure VMs. From there, we go deep on operating vSphere across a real enterprise: clusters, distributed switches, advanced storage, and HA.

Scale and Secure Together.

Most courses treat security as an afterthought. Here it runs alongside scale: host compliance, certificate management, role-based access, and the monitoring patterns that catch problems before users do.

Heavy Lab Time.

Realistic enterprise scenarios across replication, resource management, HA, DRS, and vMotion. You leave with patterns and workflows you can apply to your own production environment.

    The course is suitable for experienced system administrators, system engineers, and system integrators who wish to deepen their understanding of vSphere and learn about its advanced features and controls.

    Participants will learn to configure and manage a VMware Tools Repository, vSphere Replication, and recover replicated VMs. The course also covers managing VM resource usage with resource pools, configuring and managing vSphere networking and storage for large enterprises, and securing vCenter, ESXi, and VMs in your vSphere environment.

    It is recommended that attendees have equivalent knowledge and administration experience with ESXi and vCenter. Experience working at the command line is also highly recommended.

    The course includes a mix of lecture and hands-on labs where topics like virtual machine operations, vSphere cluster operations, network operations, storage operations, vCenter and ESXi operations, vSphere monitoring, vSphere security and access control, and vSphere trusted environments and VM encryption are covered.
