Cloud Detection and Response CDR detects and responds to threats across cloud environments by correlating control plane, identity, and runtime telemetry.
Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) Definition: Cloud Detection and Response CDR detects and responds to threats across cloud environments by correlating control plane, identity, and runtime telemetry.
Cloud Detection and Response CDR is a security approach focused on detecting, investigating, and responding to threats across cloud environments such as IaaS, PaaS, and cloud workloads. It correlates signals from cloud control planes, audit logs, identity activity, and runtime telemetry to identify malicious behavior that traditional endpoint or network tools may miss. CDR extends detection and response capabilities to the unique attack surfaces of cloud infrastructure, including misconfigurations, compromised credentials, and lateral movement between cloud services.
Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) is one of the topics you'll master in the Official ISC2 CCSP Boot Camp.
