Exploit Kit Definition: An exploit kit is a crimeware toolkit that automates browser and plugin exploitation to deliver malware via drive-by downloads from malicious sites.
An exploit kit is a prepackaged, often commercially sold toolkit that automates the discovery and exploitation of vulnerabilities in browsers, plugins, and other client software to deliver malware to visitors of compromised or malicious websites. Typically deployed in drive-by download campaigns, kits such as Angler, RIG, and Magnitude fingerprint a victim's environment, select a matching exploit, and silently install payloads like ransomware or banking trojans.
Exploit Kit is one of the topics you'll master in the CEH Boot Camp.
