Microsoft launched AB-410 as a beta exam. Beta sittings score normally once the exam moves to general availability, and Microsoft notes its own free practice assessment usually appears within eight weeks of an exam leaving beta. Our practice material is written in-house from the published skills outline, so it is available to you either way. Ask us where the exam stands before you book.
App makers, functional consultants and solution builders who work in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse, and who are now being asked to put Copilot and agents inside those solutions.
Microsoft enforces no prerequisite certification. It does assume familiarity with Copilot in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Dataverse, awareness of building agents in Copilot Studio, foundational knowledge of AI models and prompts, and comfort with Power Fx and low-code automation.
AB-410 is the low-code path: apps, flows, prompts and agents configured rather than coded. AB-400, which replaces PL-400 from 16 October 2026, is the developer path: plug-ins, custom APIs, PCF components, code apps and custom connectors. Both sit above PL-900.
