No exam is attached to this course and no exam voucher is included. The course sits on the VMware Certified Professional Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV) track as its troubleshooting-focused path, and the skills support that certification, but the VCP-DCV exam is purchased and scheduled separately through Pearson VUE.

Take Troubleshooting if your week is spent chasing faults and you want a method rather than accumulated instinct. Take Operate, Scale and Secure if the environment is stable and the job is running it well as it grows. Most administrators who own a production estate benefit from both, and the operations class is usually the better first step.
