AWS security training for 20 people, all of whom passed, plus a combined CISSP and CISM class for 10 more.
Forward’s patient-facing applications ran on AWS. The engineers who built and supported them needed deeper cloud security skills, and the company needed people who could manage cyber risk around sensitive patient data.
Training Camp delivered two tracks. Twenty people from the technical teams took AWS security training, and all 20 passed their certification exam. Ten more took a combined class covering both the ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), with risk management, patient data protection, and incident preparedness at the center. We supported each of them in taking whichever exam fit their role.
Forward was a health care company that combined primary care with technology. Members got preventive, personalized care from doctors, supported by Forward’s mobile app and in-office health tools. Because those applications handled patient health information, keeping them secure was central to the business.
