We designed an AI governance program with a Fortune 500 company and trained more than 50 employees to carry it into the rest of the organization.
AI moves faster than most organizations’ rules for it. Without governance, people make their own calls about what data goes into which tool, models get deployed without clear ownership, and risk builds up quietly. The company was about to put its own large language model in front of its people, on its own infrastructure, and it wanted the rules in place first.
We worked with the company to design an AI governance program for more than 50 employees. Our content development team then built it out for internal rollout, focused on awareness of the on-premises model and how it should be used and managed. Those employees were chosen because they were in positions to take responsibility for bringing AI governance and deployment into the rest of the organization.
The timing matters. In Microsoft and LinkedIn’s 2024 Work Trend Index, 78% of AI users said they bring their own AI tools to work, and only 39% had received AI training from their company.
This client is a Fortune 500 company that asked us not to publish its name. When we worked with it, the company was rolling out its own custom, on-premises large language model and the AI systems around it.
