Passing GH-900 earns GitHub Foundations, a Microsoft-administered, GitHub-branded certification at beginner level. It lands on your Microsoft Learn transcript once you pass, so employers can verify it directly from there.
No. Microsoft applies its fundamentals policy to GH-900, which does not offer a recertification option, so the credential does not require renewal. Every other GitHub certification is valid for two years.
2 days of live, instructor-led GH-900 training from Official Microsoft Courseware, delivered online or in person. Class runs 9am to 5pm, the labs are hosted so you need only a laptop, and test day is scheduled for Day 2.
Yes. Your $99 GH-900 exam voucher is included with your enrollment. Nothing further is owed on test day, and the voucher stays valid if you would rather book the exam later.
You get 100 minutes. Microsoft does not publish a fixed question count for the GitHub exams. Passing is a scaled score of 700 out of 1000.
