If you don’t have the required experience, you can still take the exam and become an Associate of (ISC)² until you accumulate the necessary experience. A four-year college degree or regional equivalent may be substituted for the one year of experience.

To maintain the certification, you must earn 60 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits over the three-year period and pay an Annual Maintenance Fee (AMF) to (ISC)².
